On the journey it is taken right to the edge of medium roast, stopping on the doorstep of dark roast. Along the way, its light toasty notes are contrasted with the soft fruitiness of prunes and raisins.

Surprisingly, I was shocked at how much I liked L’Or Nespresso pods. The packaging was perfect which didn’t damage any of them. They fit perfectly in my Nespresso machine. I expected them to taste watered down but that wasn’t the case. I love strong espresso and this hit the spot. It wasn’t bitter at all. Had the perfect amount of everything you’d want in a great cup of espresso. I was thoroughly impressed and can’t wait to try the other espresso capsules.

I received a sample of L'Or Espresso Pods Profundo in exchange for my honest opinion. I found the pods were easy to use with a Nespresso machine, and it smelled great while it brewed! I had it in the morning, and just smelling it helped to start wake me up even before I started drinking it! The flavor was rich, and I did detect the chocolately and nutty notes in it! It tasted indulgent, and while I have just had it by itself so far (no milk added, etc.), I'm looking forward to trying to make some different espresso-based drinks with it!

I've had my Espresso machine for a few years now and I have tried a variety of espresso pods. The L'or Lungo Profondo Espresso Pods is a gem! This pod is Bold and Strong, not watered down at all. I've had ones in the past that were labeled lungo but lacked flavor, this is not that at all. The roast is perfect, not smoky. If you want a strong coffee that keeps you alert all day, this is my go-to. I have received this product in exchange for my honest opinion.

First of all, I received this complimentary product in exchange for my honest review. Honestly it isn’t my favorite coffee because of sourness and bitterness of the coffee. Out of three flavors I received which is Profondo, Columbia Papua New Guinea, this (Profondo) is my second best one. I love bittersweet but not bitter-sour. However, because of the bitter-sour taste, it did go well with some sweets. I rewound recommend this coffee to go with any dessert that are too sweet which would complement the coffee flavor. Overall, I think the coffee has bitter, spicy, smoky, sour and dry tastes to it. I give this one three stars.
